Arctic Circle Sherpa on
North Slope
Point Lonely to Deadhorse Trips
Arctic Circle's Sherpa made its first
trip to the North Slope Oil Fields this week. We flew multiple trips from Point
Lonely to Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay carrying freight for
ENSR International. (ENSR
International is a global provider of environmental and energy development
services to industry and government).
Point Lonely, an Air
Force Short Range Radar Sight, provided the staging point for
freight bound for Deadhorse. The Sherpa performed the task with ease
by using its three ton payload for this 100 mile trip from
Point Lonely to Deadhorse.
Arctic Circle Air Service
and the Air
Logistics Helicopter coordinated with ENSR to transfer freight
from a nearby oil pad back to Deadhorse.

photogallery
and the Sherpa page to
find out more about the Sherpa's capabilities.
